Join us for our annual teaching weekend at the renowned Esalen Institute, the birthplace of the Human Potential Movement. Esalen’s rich history, dedicated culture of learning and growth, and of course – the famous Esalen Hot Springs, make this event a fun weekend of exploration and relaxation.
Please note that this weekend is hosted by Esalen and has substantially less hours than any of our regular events. You will have the opportunity to immerse in the hot springs, socialize or enjoy a massage. The material taught is of an introductory nature and focuses on embodiment and deeply felt intimate connection.
From the Esalen Catalogue:
Intimacy starts with our connection to ourselves, via our feeling body. Our bodily genius holds the secrets of intimate perception and deep connection. As we become more sensitive to the signals of our body we become more aware of others and true connections can begin. From here, there are endless means of artfully deepening and enlivening these connections through communication, touch, and gaze.
In this interactive event we will engage in processes and exercises to sensitize the body in relationship to another and explore ways to deepen into an understanding of the principles of intimacy. Brought alive through the play of relating, intimacy can be an eternal dance of bliss, ecstasy, awakening and love. It can be given as an offering, an art, that enlivens your chosen relationship and the lives of those around you.
Note: All of our intimacy events welcome both men and women, singles and couples, and all sexual orientations. There is no nudity, nor explicit sexual touching in any of our workshops. We are dedicated to the highest degree of safety and clarity for all workshop participants.
Esalen registration will open soon. You can find all Esalen information here.
I truly loved how much every cell in my body resonated with this powerful experience. I walked into the weekend very high-strung, tense and with “debilitating” nervous responses/mind chatter and left the weekend feeling like a brand new human. I especially loved the heart connections and expansion in this realm because they truly allowed my heart to soar while deeply tuned with another heart, in a blissful and yet effortless way. I also loved how everything flowed in its evolution and there were zero moments “out of place” everything about the unfolding felt seamless to me and that is ever so pleasing!!!
The weekend workshop with Michaela was profound. I wanted to attend the course because I knew that I was disconnected from my body. I could feel how much of my life experience was in my head and I craved the connection to my body as a source of pleasure and power. I wanted to deepen my relationship to my feminine energy because I could feel how depleting it is to be in the more masculine, busy energy of the world.
A journey into self, an unveiling to discover deeper and deeper layers within, which then permits one to relate out from a richer place…now existence is bigger, more flavorful and textured.
