In this brand new offering we explore our relationship to Relationship. Through a series of solo explorations, partnered processes, considerations and somatic movement we will be working with your constrictions, concerns and contractions around intimacy, the erotic and your desired relationship.
In this event we will explore your relational patterns both through the lens of ancestral and familial patterning as well as uncovering and releasing the imprints of previous relationships.
Whom we come from, our father and mother lineage stretching back over generations, their trials, traumas and losses, triumphs and joys, inform us deeply. It influences our whole trajectory in life – including how we make a living, whom we choose as partners, how we behave relationally and sexually, and how we cope with the rigors of life.
Our relationship to wealth, family, sustenance, and tribe is formed by the imprints of our lineage. Many of these behaviors have been passed down for many generations and even if we examine them cognitively, they remain in our nervous system and are deeply ingrained in our bodies.
In this event we will unlock the power of your line, clear away the blocks of inheritance, and open the possibility of freedom for you and your descendants.
Imprints from Previous Relationships
We’ll uncover beliefs you have formed and imprints you have received in previous relationships, engage with assumptions you have about yourself and learn to trace how these shape your nervous system and the expressions of your body.
These relational bodily imprints influence whom we choose as partners, how we engage in relationship with them, as well as how we perceive ourselves in the world.
We will engage in specific somatic explorations that facilitate awareness and release old beliefs as well as sensitize the body for greater availability.
This event does not follow the usual format of relationship events. You will be doing solo explorations, talk processes and somatic movement in addition to partnered work. This is not a gender balanced event. If you are attending by yourself, you will be relating with many individuals for the sake of practice. If you are attending with a partner you have the choice of remaining paired for the duration of the event.
Join Michaela Boehm and Steve James for a journey into the depths of Intimacy and the Body as we are:
Michaela’s workshop really deepened my understanding of my sexual self and I am aware how I can express this more. Funnily enough, I feel the need to now; a need that had been dormant for quite some time. Thank you Michaela.
The courses with Michaela and Steve are inspiring. The space they offer is transforming and rich in enquiry and possibilities to deepen one’s practice. Steve and Michaela are wonderful teachers bringing in each their way heartful and grounded wisdom through their presence and teachings.
Michaela and Steve are amazing. They are professional and their knowledge and experience is like none other. I feel more alive after each of their events, more in my body, more ready for the world. The epiphanies I have had during their workshops have rippled into, brought more awareness to, and improved all areas of my life. Therefore, to me, they offer essential and valuable life tools, practices and wisdom in their events. Their material is very accessible for everyone, at any stage of their practice with the material. Their teaching style is impeccable and allow for the participants to deepen their experience in a safe space. Whether the event is a couple of hours, a day or a week long, I get so much out of it for my personal growth. I HIGHLY recommend giving ANY of their workshops a try!
